Russell Halper has devoted his career to developing cutting-edge analytics solutions to problems in supply chain, manufacturing, and marketing. He is passionate about developing actionable, pragmatic analytics that align closely with business processes to generate first-rate results. Russell has worked with companies of all sizes in industries including consumer packaged goods, retail, consumer electronics, silicon manufacturing, home package delivery, and internet content distribution. He has developed solutions for a diverse set of problems in schedule optimization, network design, promotions forecasting and optimization, financial forecasting, inventory analysis, DC operations analysis, supply chain strategy, and resource management.
Prior to joining End-to-End, Russell was a member of an internal supply chain consulting group at Nestlé that focused on developing optimization-based solutions for various problems in supply chain and manufacturing. Amongst his biggest successes was designing, developing, and implementing a finite scheduling tool for complex batch-and-queue production environments with stochastic yields. Earlier in his career, Russell worked for UPS and Akamai Technologies.
Russell has a B.S. in Mathematics from the College of Creative Studies at U.C. Santa Barbara and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland. He is an author of several academic papers in network and transportation optimization, sports scheduling, and modeling computer networks.
