Job Duties:  Responsible for engaging with customers and potential customers to identify strategic opportunities to be addressed by the firm’s operations research and supply chain consulting services.  Duties include working with technical leads to define the scope and the deliverables of project engagements and to develop and present project proposals; assuring customer funding and negotiating project fees; reviewing and approving project plans; managing the customer relationship, becoming the trusted advisor for customer analytical and process challenges; expanding the company presence and business in the EMEA market, developing new client relationships and services offerings for the EMEA region; developing new partner relationships  with firms offering complementary services; supporting the creation of new intellectual property and collateral for the company (e.g. new algorithms and models, solution architecture, marketing materials, papers, articles, patents, etc.); performing company-wide functional sales management leadership to improve internal process efficiency. 

Job Requirements: Requires Master’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Management Science and Engineering, Economics or related field with 5 years of experience in business development for technical products and services. 

Required Experience: Experience must demonstrate proven capability to achieve assigned sales quotas and to close deals; proven capability to manage successful delivery of large projects involving multiple professionals; financial analytical skills to identify opportunities to improve profitability; proven expertise promoting and managing projects that apply advanced analytics to solve challenging client business problems; demonstrated capability and results in developing and growing international business outside the US with specific focus on the EMEA market; proven capability to establish and develop business partnership with complementary solution providers (e.g. software companies, other consulting firms).
