Nishant Lokhandwala has experience in building optimization and statistical models to derive actionable insights from data. Through projects in the automotive and consumer packaged goods industries he has applied his analytical skills to a range of problems including inventory and promotion optimization.
During his graduate studies at Berkeley, Nishant has been involved in research focusing on the use of machine learning models to develop an early warning system for earthquakes and applying machine learning to solve large scale integer programs faster. With more than two years of experience in project management in the oil and gas industry earlier in his career, he has developed competencies in scheduling, material management and project planning.
Nishant holds a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley.
