Karl Sorensen has developed and deployed mathematical models for applications in biotech process development, climate studies, sports, and business.
Prior to joining End-to-End, Karl developed ecological risk management tools to quantify the effects of climate change by modeling growth and carbon uptake of phytoplankton. He also applied machine learning techniques to predict performance and injury-susceptibility in Major League baseball. Karl has also applied his mathematical modeling expertise to the biologics industry, where he developed high-throughput assays to improve production efficacy. Karl has considerable database management experience and a technical skill set that includes R, MATLAB, Java, and VBA.
Karl holds B.S. in Biology from MIT.
