Gustavo Ferreira has devoted his career to helping his clients make data-driven decisions by first conducting detailed data analysis and then interpreting and explaining the resulting insights. In recent years Gustavo has focused on the retail industry, helping his clients through analytics-enabled transformations. Demand-side projects have emphasized forecasting new and fashion-driven products using the latest machine learning techniques as well as more process-focused methods like S&OP and management dashboards. In the operations arena, Gustavo has helped retailers to address sourcing, purchasing, inventory allocation, and store replenishment problems, as well as sales force scheduling. Gustavo has also led projects focused on category management, assortment optimization, pricing, promotions, mark-downs, and sales target setting.
Prior to joining End-to-End, Gustavo worked as a consultant at the Monitor Group and at Falconi (Brazil). Here he led consulting teams and managed projects focused on maximizing clients’ profitability through scenario analysis, financial valuations, process and performance improvements, and overhead and production cost reductions. His work ranged from identifying client improvement opportunities to full implementation of designed solutions.
Gustavo has an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Specialization in Finance from IBMEC (Brazil) as well as a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Minas Gerais in Brazil.
