Varun Madduri has worked on supply chain management problems in the healthcare and automotive industries, but mostly in high tech. He has addressed problems ranging from package delivery logistics to total cost of ownership decisions (encompassing initial purchase and long-term support) to forecasting and capacity planning. On the technical side, Varun’s expertise includes data & tool integration and exploratory data analysis. Varun started his career as a Design Engineer at Texas Instruments, where he was the lead developer for tools to analyze and reduce on-chip cross-talk noise, leading to substantial reductions in development times. As an R&D engineer he developed an appreciation for product lifecycle management and the importance of managing project cycle time. Varun has a B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
