Rob Hall has spent the last 14 years as a leading practitioner at the forefront of the Supply Chain Management movement. His focus is on manufacturing and distribution strategy, network design, inventory management, operations improvement, and order fulfillment processes. Rob spent much of his career at Hewlett Packard, where he led the Strategic Planning and Modeling (SPaM) Team, HP’s highly-regarded internal supply chain analytics consultancy. While there he championed the advancement of sophisticated supply chain and inventory modeling capability. He subsequently held the roles of Operations Manager and Supply Chain Engineering Manager for HP’s Notebook PC business, where he implemented International-Direct Ship, Build-to-Customer-Order and Vendor Hub programs resulting in dramatically improved business performance. Rob has consulted extensively across a wide range of businesses. Rob holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an M.Sc. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
