Having worked both within industry and as an external business advisor, Mark Wells has led projects in process improvement, facility location, forecasting, inventory planning, order fulfillment and warehousing, cost-to-serve, predictive analytics, and direct mail consumer marketing. Mark focuses on helping business people make higher quality decisions in less time. He identifies the root causes of undesirable business symptoms and creates models and processes to sustain improved performance. He has helped numerous global companies evaluate, pilot, and deploy advanced planning applications, including inventory optimization. He has also performed a considerable body of work in sales and operations planning. Mark has a keen interest in exploring sensitivity analysis for strategic decision-making, the improvement of operations in health care, and the service and service parts value chain.

Mark holds a BA in Social Science from Cedarville University and an MBA from Drexel University, where he focused on operations management and associated analytics. He speaks regularly at industry events and has published articles in multiple periodicals, including the Journal of Enterprise Resource Management.
