Ed Feitzinger has worked on logistics, process engineering and supply chain design issues for the span of his career. As the Senior Vice President of IT and Engineering for Menlo Worldwide, Ed was responsible for the design of warehousing and transportation solutions for Menlo’s global 3pl and freight forwarding customers. Later, as VP of Logistics for Hewlett-Packard, he oversaw HP’s global freight procurement, freight payment, and logistics project management. Earlier in his career, Ed served as a manufacturing process engineer at AT&T Network Systems and at Intel. Then, in his first tour of duty at HP, Ed worked on the Strategic Planning and Modeling team, focusing on emerging market supply chains and product strategy. With HP’s expanding server and PC divisions, he held critical roles as supply chain manager and as IT manager, with a heavy emphasis on change management as the business adopted fundamental value chain changes like outsourcing and build-to-order manufacturing. Most recently, Ed served as a member of the executive team at Golden Gate Logistics, a private equity-backed import logistics company focused on building new supply chain solutions from China to North America. Ed has published supply chain articles in Harvard Business Review and the Journal of Cost Management. He focuses on bringing a balance of global logistics, procurement and inventory strategy to network and product design problems. He is a frequent speaker at CSCMP and other supply chain forums, and he has served on the board of directors and advisory boards of several software and logistics entities. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. Return to Who We Are.
