Navneet Ramachandran has hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, which gives him a real-world appreciation for how things really get made and distributed. Having been trained in Lean Six Sigma, he has developed supplier quality systems and control measures to minimize material wastage.
Navneet’s abiding interest, though, is applying advanced analytical techniques to the support of manufacturing and supply chain operations. He has developed advanced transfer function forecasting models aimed at anticipating channel behavior – both sell-in and sell-out. He has also developed pricing models to address price elasticity as well as optimal pricing of seasonal products. He has a host of technical tools at his disposal, lately favoring R and MATLAB for his most complicated projects.
Navneet holds a B.Tech in Manufacturing & Production Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Tiruchirappalli, India. He also holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Texas at Austin.
