Ken Agacinski has spent his career as a consultant in the areas of forecasting and supply chain management, with significant experience in the automotive, food, and high tech industries. His particular focus is on agile development, seamlessly combining data with custom or available software to support better and quicker decisions through data analysis and visualization. Projects in this area have ranged from product portfolio decision management in the food industry to sophisticated risk assessment throughout the automotive supply chain. He has also performed extensive research in the areas of supply chain optimization and workload modelings of supply chain optimization and workload modeling.
Ken began his career at General Motors where he developed workload modeling software for the Containerization Department. He also led a successful group-wide initiative to substantially reduce the lead time of project development. He then worked as a consultant for the Vivecon Corporation, developing a range forecasting methodology for several automotive OEMs. The application of this forecasting approach continues to have considerable impact on the largest and most complex supply chains in the world. In addition to these experiences, he worked for two years as Executive Director of The MORE Program - a non-profit organization focused on supporting entrepreneurs in the early stages of their business development.
Ken holds a B.S.E. and an M.S.E. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is also a member of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations.
