Hal Kalechofsky has over 20 years of high-tech experience specializing in technology innovation, big data, product management, and strategic consulting, in both the United States and Europe. He has designed and developed analytical solutions and data-intensive software applications at scale for both Fortune 500 companies and technology startups.
Prior to joining End-to-End, Hal spent 10 years as a management consultant in Silicon Valley, notably where he led transformative projects across Cisco Services and Sales Operations. These included the Cisco Service Contract Center deployment, Global Service Logistics solutions, Asset Management Services design and rollout, Global Service Provider deal optimization, and management of the Cognitive/AI Services portfolio. Previously, as a co-Founder of Appiom, Inc., Hal invented new home networking techniques for family Internet applications. Prior to that, he directed risk management data science teams in the Trust and Safety group at eBay, and ran eCommerce analytics for Coremetrics (acquired by IBM). Hal also managed the Deposit Risk Analysis team at Wells Fargo, engineering financial predictive models for behavioral and fraud detection. During these efforts, Hal and his teams have won several innovation awards. Earlier in his career, Hal built data science computing systems and managed university R&D for the CERN physics laboratory in Europe.
Hal has several published articles in the area of AI business applications and has given talks on predictive modeling at high-tech conferences. Hal earned a Ph.D. in high energy physics from the University of Pittsburgh, an MS in condensed matter physics from the University of Sussex, and a BA in philosophy from Tufts University.
