Andy Fisher has spent over a decade designing, developing, and deploying analytical systems in the high-tech manufacturing, consumer product, and financial service industries. He has focused on applying quantitative approaches to problems in demand forecasting, financial modeling, risk management, and supply chain flexibility.
Andy previously worked at Cisco Systems as a Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager. He also managed Cisco's Analytical Forecasting and Modeling team, where he led development of systems for demand forecasting (including new products), inventory buffering, and performance reporting. Prior to that, Andy worked at the SAS Institute as an Analytical Consultant, implementing large-scale forecasting systems for Fortune 500 retail and CPG companies. Earlier in his career, Andy worked in financial risk management developing and implementing portfolio credit risk analytic systems for the world’s largest banks.
Andy holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Georgia in Athens, where he specialized in time series econometrics and financial economics. He is a member of INFORMS and NABE.
