Aabha Verma has hands-on experience managing small business operations in a startup retail environment. More recently she has applied her skills to helping firms improve their business processes and deploy decision support tools.
Aabha has a research background in retail operations and inventory management and has worked on dynamic assortment planning, shelf space problems and statistical forecasting models. She recently helped develop an optimal quantity sourcing decision tool for a leading cosmetics company in the U.S. With a mechanical engineering background, Aabha previously interned in the design and assembly operations arms of the automotive industry. She also supported development work in the CAD industry. She has since worked on multiple supply chain projects in the automotive space. Her projects include forecasting supplier parts requirements and process planning for vehicle allocations.
Aabha holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy (Chennai, India). She has an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and an M.S. in Operations Management from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
